Webinars During Lockdown

Why should mental health be your priority ?

The period of quarantine due to the global pandemic might significantly increase the rate of mental health issues even for a long run. A survey conducted in the USA showed that 6 out of 10 people are anxious due to the pandemic. Isolation might make people vulnerable to issues displaying a mixture of anxious and depressive symptoms, some rising to the level of PTSD.

What’s worse is that everything will look perfect on the surface. Most people won’t seek help because of the associated stigma and the fear of hampering their career progression making them demotivated and feel helpless. In today’s volatile and uncertain world, we want people to be motivated and happy. But all is not lost. It’s time to bring in the professionals.

How to prevent infection from spreading?

To prevent infection and to slow transmission of COVID-19, do the following:

  1. Wash your hands regularly with soap and water, or clean them with alcohol-based hand rub.
  2. Maintain at least 1 metre distance between you and people coughing or sneezing.
  3. Avoid touching your face.
  4. Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.
  5. Stay home if you feel unwell.
  6. Refrain from smoking and other activities that weaken the lungs.
  7. Practice physical distancing by avoiding unnecessary travel and staying away from large groups of people.
